Masterclass sessions

From semester 2, 2018, there will be ½ or 1-day ‘masterclass’ sessions for each particular project. These will provide teachers with background information, detailed instructions and practice at running the projects. They will also outline support networks available to participating schools. Teachers will walk away with all of the necessary resources and knowledge required to successfully run the project at their own school. In most cases, they will also take with them free equipment (e.g. GoPro cameras, Bluetooth speakers, etc). These will begin in semester 2, 2018 and will be held at Sacred Heart College in Geelong, Victoria. A full list of dates and costs will be posted soon.

Journal Publications

Schools will have the opportunity to publish the results of their projects in an international, peer-reviewed journal called STEM Reports. This acts as a capstone experience for students, provides a tangible outcome for projects and is an impressive achievement that can be included on students (and teachers) CV/resume. Submissions are reviewed and edited by professional academics and industry professionals. Accepted papers are published online and open source (accessible to everyone). Submissions to the journal will begin in late 2018.
