Born in Melbourne, Pauline attended St John Vianney’s Primary School in Canberra and Corryong High School in northeast Victoria before studying at Melbourne University where she completed a BA (Hons) in Political Science and lived at Newman College. She lives in Geelong with her family including Eleanor, currently in Year 12 at Sacred Heart College and Sam, a student at St Joseph’s College.

Pauline is a communications advisor and consultant for a range of organisations including not for profits, government and business. She began her working life as a news reporter, working across newspapers, radio and television, including Channel 7 Melbourne and ABC-TV Melbourne. She has taught journalism at Deakin University and worked as a Federal Government media adviser and speechwriter and freelance feature writer.
