The Feast of the Sacred Heart is a moveable Catholic feast which always falls 68 days after Easter, on the Friday immediately following the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. Following the second Sunday after Pentecost, this feast honours the physical heart of Jesus Christ as a symbol of his boundless and passionate love for all of humanity.
Jesus, fountain of every blessing, make me humble, patient, pure, and open to your will.
Grant that I may live in you and for you.
Protect and comfort me, and grant me your blessing and grace.
