Sacred Heart College would like to acknowledge the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the Land on which we gather and learn today. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present and recognise their enduring care to this land, its waterways and skies. We also extend that acknowledgement to any Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander people here today.
Sacred Heart College acknowledges the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we gather. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present and recognise their continuing connection to Country, culture and community. We also extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. In this place of education, we acknowledge and understand Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are the first educators and recognise the true histories of this Land. In doing so, we will continue to deepen our understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and contributions. Our vision for reconciliation is to continue our commitment of working together in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the local community in the spirit of reconciliation.
