The Alumni Association aims to value and cherish what has gone before, while also looking to the future as a modern and vibrant Association.
Guided by a visionary and dedicated Strategic Plan, the Association is deeply committed to playing a proactive, positive role in the lives of our Alumni, serving as a lifelong anchor of support, opportunity and community. Rather than allowing graduation to be a point of departure, our goal is to champion continued, meaningful connections back to the College and its broader network, ensuring that the unique bond shared by our graduates remains vibrant across generations.
This strategic framework empowers us to design purposeful initiatives – ranging from professional mentorship programs and networking events to social reunions and philanthropic opportunities – that enrich our Alumni both personally and professionally. By fostering this enduring relationship, we not only celebrate the individual journeys of our past students but also strengthen the collective spirit of the Sacred Heart community.

General Committee Members can serve up to six years, and Executive Committee Members can serve up to three years, for a total of six years on the committee. Each year at our Annual General Meeting held in October or November, new members are elected when positions have become available.
The Sacred Heart Alumni Association is seeking expressions of interest for several vacant positions on the general committee.
As outlined in the recently developed Strategic Plan, the Alumni Association enables past students to reconnect, celebrate the College’s rich history and help shape the future of the organisation. We are seeking community-minded candidates with skills-based experience in project management, strategic planning and teamwork.
Meeting commitments are once a month after hours and one Annual General Meeting per year.
