Our student-led child safety advocates were asked to present at the Respectful Relationship: Identifying and Responding to Family Violence Forum, sharing the importance of student voice in creating a safe and supportive school community.
This student leadership team was established to ensure students have a meaningful role in identifying child safety concerns, raising issues that affect them and bringing these concerns directly to staff who can take action. Each month, students participate in relaxed, student-led discussions focused on child safety standards and current school issues.
Through this initiative, students are empowered to speak up, share their experiences and help ensure that every student feels safe, supported and heard.
