Four of our students attended the recent Outreach activity at Cafe Light, where they volunteered their time and effort in providing morning tea to the parishioners of St Mary's following the Mass service.
The attendees were treated to a warm cup of tea or coffee, and a selection of yummy treats, all for the donation of $5.00, which will be used to raise money for the people of Viqueque, in Timor. It is a social event, and is always well attended by parishioners as they build connections and catch up over a comforting cuppa.
The students - Ann Biju, Nevaeh Huynh, Ellie D'Alessandro and Eva D'Alessandro - were also fortunate on this occasion to meet a couple of parishioners who are also SHC Alumni - Terri Walsh Neward (1954) and Marita Fitzpatrick (1951).
