Our annual Mercy Empowerment Dinner brought the community together for an evening of reflection, entertainment, and shared purpose. Serving as our primary annual fundraiser, the event was a spectacular success, boasting a fantastic turnout that filled the room with warmth and generosity.
Attendees were treated to a delicious two-course meal, perfectly complemented by entertaining live music, inspiring student presentations, and a lively silent auction and raffle. The evening proudly showcased the collective spirit of our community, with those in attendance helping to support this vital fundraising effort.
The highlight of the night was our inspirational keynote speaker, Ornella Byak. With passion, Ornella spoke of her profound aspirations to set a transformative new national standard for education in Timor-Leste. Her words resonated deeply, serving as a true example of someone living out the evening’s core theme: to Pave a Path of Mercy.
The incredible energy in the room was a testament to what we can achieve when we work together toward a common goal. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make the night such a success. We also thank those who attended and helped make this a much-anticipated date on the College calendar.
