Enrolments College Tours

What an incredible afternoon of energy, grit, and high-fives! The atmosphere was positive, as our students took to Eastern Beach and Eastern Gardens for our annual school triathlon on Monday 9 February. From the first splash in the water to the final sprint across the finish line, the spirit of our school community was shining bright.

This wasn't just a walk in the park - it was a true test of stamina! Our athletes faced a demanding course that pushed them to their limits, including:

  • Swim: Navigating the waters of Eastern Beach.
  • Bike: Powering through the road track around the gardens.
  • Run: Finding that 'second wind' to charge toward the finish line.

The hills of Eastern Gardens are never easy, but seeing our students attack those inclines with smiles was truly inspiring.

While we saw some students competing again in the triathlon, a highlight was the incredible number of first-timers. Stepping up to a triathlon for the first time takes a massive amount of courage.

A triathlon is an individual sport, but it felt like a team victory today. The sidelines were packed with supportive families and fellow competitors showing sportsmanship and pausing to encourage a peer or cheer on someone as they passed by was what this day is all about.

A big thank you goes to our SHC staff for your hard work to make this a positive experience for all.

Well done to all participants!
