The Conveyance Allowance is a form of financial assistance for parents/carers to transport children to and from school, available to eligible students travelling by public or private bus.

Conveyance Allowance for Geelong areas, Bellarine and Surf Coast (Public Bus Travel)
Students travelling from suburban areas of Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast who reside 4.8km or further from Sacred Heart College may be eligible to claim a Conveyance Allowance refund from the Department of Education.
Please note: Students travelling from areas such as Bell Post Hill, Corio, Lara and Norlane are not attending the nearest appropriate school, therefore to be eligible for the conveyance allowance they must provide a letter from Clonard College stating that an enrolment place is not available for them at Clonard College.
Please note this form does not need to be completed each year unless of a change to your address.
Conveyance Allowance for Geelong areas, Bellarine and Surf Coast (Public Bus Travel) - New Students
Current students receive a PTV Approved School Student ID card. Please take this card when purchasing your Geelong Transit Student Pass from V/Line train stations or PTV Hub at Geelong Westfield Shopping Centre.
New students* to the College who do not have their PTV Approved Student ID card are required to complete a PTV School Student ID and Student Pass Application Form and attach two passport size photos so these can be stamped. This form needs to be validated at College Reception and taken to V/Line or PTV Hub for the purchase of your half-yearly or yearly pass.
Please provide a copy of the buss pass receipt to College Reception at the commencement of the school year. Please write your daughter’s name on the top of the receipt.
The purchase price of the ticket will be reimbursed to you via your school fee account once the funds are received from the government.
Conveyance Allowance for Regional areas (Private Bus Travel)
Students travelling from Anakie, Anglesea, Bambra, Bannockburn, Barrabool, Batesford, Bellbrae, Bells Beach, Buckley, Ceres, Deans Marsh, Fairhaven, Freshwater Creek, Gheringhap, Gnarwarre, Inverleigh, Lethbridge, Little River, Lorne, Maude, Meredith, Moorabool, Moriac, Mt Moriac, Shelford, Stonehaven, Teesedale, Winchelsea, Wingeel.
Students travelling from these areas are required to complete an Application for Permission to Travel form. Bus Passes are not issued for this travel.
