The College’s state-of-the-art Makerspace was opened in 2019 and now provides a place where students and staff use equipment and materials to develop innovative projects.

A place where people can come together to use, and learn to use materials as well as develop creative projects. A Makerspace facilitates transdisciplinary, tactile learning opportunities where connections between home, school, and community are enabled and encouraged.

How does a Makerspace enhance learning?

Nesting Boxes

SHC was one of over 70 schools across Victoria to participate in the Nesting Box Challenge – building homes for the wildlife whose habitat was ravaged by the Victorian bushfires.
