During weeks two and three of this Term, our school community once again demonstrated its commitment to living out the values of compassion and service through our Food Drive in support of the St Thomas Aquinas Parish Pantry. Coordinated through our Mentor Groups, this semester’s theme, 'Bring Your Favourite Snack,' highlighted the treats and snacks that are often most appreciated by families visiting the pantry.
The response from students, families and staff was overwhelming. Over the two-week period, a generous collection of non-perishable food items were donated, providing much-needed support to local families. Members of the Mercy and Mission team delivered the donations and helped stock the shelves of the Parish Pantry, ensuring the items were ready to be distributed to families at St Thomas.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered and contributed to the success of this initiative. The generosity reflects the spirit of our school community and serves as a wonderful example of how we can make a positive difference in the lives of others.
