Year 12 Seminar Day Two was day of reflection and inspiration for our senior students. The highlight of the day was welcoming back Sacred Heart College alumna Kristi Davidson (Van Es, 2001), the visionary CEO of Offspring.
Offspring is an impactful not-for-profit charity dedicated to restoring the lives of young women who have survived the trauma of modern slavery and human trafficking. As young women themselves, our Year 12 cohort listened with respect and empathy as Kristi shared the realities of her mission. She shed light on the incredible, life-changing work her team performs daily to offer hope, healing and agency to those facing such dire global circumstances.
Kristi stands as a wonderful role model for our graduating class. Her journey from these very classrooms to leading an international rescue and rehabilitation effort embodies the core values of our community. She is a living, breathing example of what it means to display 'Mercy in Action' each and every day. Hearing her story challenged our students to think deeply about their own futures and how they, too, can use their voices to champion justice and compassion in the wider world.
