Congratulations to the students who travelled to the Darebin International Soccer Complex in Melbourne on Thursday 22 August to compete in the CGSAV Division 2 Soccer competition. 

The day started with all three teams playing in a round robin against other Catholic schools from around Victoria. All three had very competitive games across the day, making it to the Grand Final in the Junior and Intermediate divisions. 

The Juniors played Sacred Heart Oakleigh in the Grand Final. Sacred Heart Geelong scored the only goal, winning the game. Hannah Walsh was awarded best on the ground. The Intermediates also made it to the Grand Final against Sacred Heart Oakleigh. SHC scored 2 goals to take out the championship game, with Gabby Ristevski winning the best on ground. The Seniors battled across the day to finish a respectful 6^th. Thank you to Alice McMillan – Junior coach, Kate Ryan – Intermediate coach, Ahmet Atasever – Senior Coach and Tyler Reid our trainee assistant.
