When this graphic design competition came up I just had to try. I have created some logo’s in the past at my primary school where I had the chance to design their STEMS logo. I have been learning how to use Photoshop and Illustrator from my dad as he is a graphic designer and I thought this competition was the perfect opportunity to really use those skills!

Inside the ‘M’ of my design I included many icons that I thought students would use throughout the classes in Makerspace, such as the brain, beaker, paintbrushes, cogs, the earth and creating tools.

Winning it means having the Makerspace logo presented on a poster at our school, on the Makerspace SHC website, video and assembly. I am proud of my work and happy that I get to share this logo with Sacred Heart College.
